There are upcoming changes to the Courtesy Transportation Program (Loaners) that will be effective January 1st 2019.

The Courtesy Transportation Program is a voluntary program that Chapman Chevrolet elected to enroll in with General Motors.  The program is designed to offer a vehicle to drive while your vehicle is in for an overnight repair that is covered under the factory bumper-to-bumper, 3 year / 36,000 mile warranty.  Per GM, courtesy transportation is not part of the factory warranty.  In the past, we have utilized the vehicles for same day service visits and out of warranty repairs.  Unfortunately, we are limited to the number of vehicles GM permits us to have in the program.  With the increasing request for transportation and limited number of vehicles available, we will be returning to the guidelines of the program; overnight stay while performing a repair covered under the factory warranty.

We will continue to be able to reserve vehicles with the local rental vehicle agency for you if needed.  The daily fee is $38.00 per day.

General Motors does allow us to reimburse a customer for other transportation uses if the vehicle is in service for a factory warranty repair.  Those services include bus, train, taxi, and some fuel reimbursement if another person is providing a ride.
